Learning beyond the classroom.

Parenting beyond the norm.

We’re raising two creative, culturally-rooted kids through a lifestyle that values freedom, curiosity, and purpose. For us, homeschooling isn’t about recreating school at home — it’s about living a life that reflects what we believe in.

We learn through experience, travel, conversation, art, and entrepreneurship. We honor our heritage, follow our instincts, and build a learning environment that works for our family — not against it.

There’s no perfect method. Just what’s real, what’s intentional, and what’s working right now.

The Hive Worldschool

We joined The Hive in Cabrera, Dominican Republic—a pop-up worldschool that helped us embrace learning through travel and community. It was one of the most liberating and expansive experiences of our homeschooling journey.

Raising Conscious Kids

We use Woke Homeschooling because it tells the truth. No whitewashed history here — just real conversations about justice, race, and the world we live in.

Nicole the Math Lady (Saxon Math)

We use Nicole the Math Lady to bring the Saxon Math curriculum to life. Her energy, clarity, and consistency make math a breeze — and my kids actually enjoy it. Structured learning with a human touch.

IEW (Institute for Excellence in Writing)

IEW gives us a framework that teaches structure and style. My kids don’t just learn to write — they learn to express themselves with clarity and creativity.
